Halloween treats

I had to get a little creative this year.  Cute and delicious!  Trick or treat!

Being picky and patience in finding what I like

So.. . while wandering the sale racks at Anthro last week I found this.

I loved it immediately and have been looking for something whimsical, yet aged for my living room bookcase, and thought this would be just the thing. . .

Only thing is, I am so TERRIBLY picky!

See, I have this "practice" once I buy something for my home.  It goes a little something like this. . .

1. Don't take tags off.
2. Place in home as you would if you were keeping it.
3. Leave it there for a week all while keeping a good eye on it every time you walk by the room.
4. Love it?  Good. keep it!  Don't love it?  Take it back!

I wish I knew if I could have something and keep it right then.  It would make things so much more easy.

You would think I would know if I loved something right off the bat!  But I am not like that.  I am one that needs to wait and see because if it isn't something I am going to love in five years, I will not keep it either.

I believe in timeless design and classic pieces that I will always love.  Granted I move things around in my house to keep it fresh, but I must love it or ditch it.

Oh the complications of life.. .

How to: Tie a scarf

With fall coming and my bevy of scarves coming out of storage, I thought it would be nice to know how to tie them most stylishly for the seasons ahead.
